Your Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Specialist to join our team in Poole. You will be responsible for the collection of tax-related information, for reporting to tax authorities in a timely manner, and to advise on the tax impact of business strategies. To support the Tax Manager UK & Ireland in all aspects of UK and Irish tax compliance and tax projects. You will ensure payments on accounts are calculated and paid to tax authorities in time. Collation of data for and preparation of corporation tax returns of all active UK and Irish companies, liaising with tax advisors, Accounting Business Partners and GL teams, where applicable. Answering local business queries on VAT and providing UK & Irish VAT expertise to projects.

Who you are:
  • At least 2 years' tax accounting experience in a commercial environment
  • Advanced level Excel skills
  • Intermediate skills in Word and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Working knowledge of SAP (preferred)
  • Have a tax or account qualification (e.g. ATT, AAT), or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (Preferred)
