The Opportunity: Global Process Owner - R2R
Step into the role of Global Process Owner, situated either in London or Manchester. Reporting to the Head of Finance Continuous Improvement, you'll be the driving force behind change, efficiency, and compliance in the Record to Report (R2R) process. Become a key player in this exciting transformational journey.
- Spearhead continuous improvement and process excellence, partnering with business units to align change with our client's vision and digital transformation.
- Design, implement, and elevate standard processes to world-class levels, ensuring compliance and enhancing user experience.
- Stay attuned to emerging technologies and best practices, identifying opportunities that drive value.
- Maintain meticulous process documentation, including standard operating procedures and training materials.
- Engineer seamlessly integrated global processes, harnessing the power of analytics for informed decision-making.
- Be the voice of the R2R process in global business-led system projects, advocating for finance process enhancements.
- Prioritize and oversee change requests from a business requirement perspective.
- Collaborate across teams of Global Process Owners to synergize process improvements.
- Partner with tech teams to implement Oracle Fusion updates, ensuring up-to-date documentation and training.
- Play a pivotal role in embedding Oracle Fusion, focusing on stability and ongoing enhancements.
- Formulate business cases to support strategic investments.
- Oversee business-related policies and procedures.
- Collaborate nimbly with cross-functional teams, contributing to the realization of Finance's vision.
- Establish and integrate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for process enhancement.
- Leverage data for streamlined upstream support and process improvement insights.
- Identify training needs and deliver impactful training sessions to the business.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold professional accounting qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Possess a profound understanding of the R2R process, coupled with external benchmarks.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing exceptional processes.
- Demonstrate expertise in designing process maps and activity documents.
- Showcase successful project management experience, including risk mitigation.
- Additional qualifications like Lean/Six Sigma/PRINCE are advantageous.
- Envision processes aligned with business objectives and holistic efficiency.
- Exposure to Global Business Services environments is a plus.
- Excel in building relationships and collaborating seamlessly.
- Exhibit an acute awareness of automation tools and data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with SOX or similar regulatory contexts.
- Showcase proficient IT skills encompassing GSuite, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
