TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an excellent firm of chartered accountants based in Bromley who are undergoing continued positive growth and development. The firm has a wide spectrum of clients, across varied industries and turnover ranges, with an excellent reputation for compliance and added value advisory services, alongside their general practice offering.

Due to growth within the practice and future expansion plans, they are now looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their team. This position could suit somebody who is looking for a stable client manager position, where they are in a standalone position, managing a portfolio of clients through to somebody who is looking for a progressive opportunity, and the chance to become a Director, or Partner within the practice, within 3-5 years. Equally the position, could include a bit of both. A large proportion of the job will be built around the candidate, their experience, and their aspirations.

Joining as and Accounts and Tax Manager, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients made up of sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies. Managing the provision of general practice services across accounts, tax and wider planning and advisory services for your portfolio. You will develop long term relationships with your clients with significant opportunity to develop advisory skills and deliver services across wide ranging planning and added value project work. There will be an opportunity to develop your technical skills, and there is genuine medium and long term career progression on offer in this growing firm.

Requirements
  • You will have a career background in accountancy practice preparing a mix of accounts, tax, management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT services for a variation of clients to include limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
  • You will have at least 5 years experience, or more ideally gained within accountancy practice and be looking to further your career.
  • You will be ACCA/ACA qualified or have developed your career through experience only.

Benefits £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
