Working within the FMCG industry for a well known reputable business that has grown 46% in the last 5 years and only going one direction

In the role of Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will assume a pivotal position by spearheading the company's FP&A initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will encompass furnishing insightful financial data to facilitate strategic decision-making, overseeing efficient budgeting and forecasting procedures, and fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance overall financial performance

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entirety of financial planning and analysis processes, encompassing annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.

• Deliver precise and timely financial reports, analyses, and insights to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and discernible trends.

• Collaborate seamlessly with various departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to amass data, comprehend business drivers, and ensure synchronization of financial plans with operational objectives.

• Construct intricate financial models to evaluate diverse scenarios and potential business initiatives, assessing their impact on profitability, cash flow, and overall financial well-being.

• Vigilantly monitor financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year benchmarks, investigating variances and furnishing actionable recommendations.

• Contribute significantly to the preparation of board presentations, executive summaries, and other communication materials, effectively articulating financial performance and strategic recommendations.

• Spearhead efforts to perpetually refine financial processes, systems, and reporting, enhancing both efficiency and accuracy.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market shifts to enrich financial analyses and strategies.

• Assure unwavering compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requisites, and internal policies.

Skills and Experience

• Certified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Proficient in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools.

• Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to translate intricate financial data into actionable insights.

• Effective communication skills, enabling the presentation of financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., BC, SAP, Oracle) and adept use of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
