McArthurGlen Group, Europe's leading owner, developer and manager of designer outlets, was founded in Europe in 1993 and currently manages 25 designer outlets in 8 countries.

What you'll be doing...

At McArthurGlen, we have an established tourism programme with dedicated teams located at headquarters, regional offices, select designer outlet centres, as well as international representation offices within key source markets e.g., China, Korea, Southeast Asia, Russia, and the Middle East.

As Tourism Analytics Manager, you will report directly to our Head of Tourism Marketing & Sales and responsible for the development, execution, and tracking of tourism development initiatives. You will also be accountable for identifying key trends and assessing strategic growth opportunities from international long haul as well as European source markets. You will additionally collate, analyse, and share performance reports of our tourism programmes at group, regional and local level.

Tourism is a crucial source of visitors for McArthurGlen and this role is critical in driving the growth of our revenue and meet our ambitious targets.

Your Profile
  • You have solid work experience in strategy, consultancy, or corporate level experience with exposure to a broad range of business issues.
  • You have experience in the travel industry, plus exposure to consumer or retail sectors is preferable.
  • You demonstrate the ability to assess and understand a variety of internal and external economic and financial issues with impact to the business. You can analyse data and forecast future business trends in order to draw insights based on business needs and assessments.
  • You possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written to address all levels within the organization. Fluency in English is mandatory (additional European languages would be an advantage)
  • Financial modelling/analysis, basic finance principles and strong MS Excel proficiency.
  • You are self-motivated and can plan time/priorities.
  • You are a flexible team player, able to multi-task.
  • You are familiar with external data sources and ability to use them effectively to reach key conclusions.

To be successful you'll bring...
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Strategy, Finance or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Fluency in English
  • 4-6 years work experience in strategy, consultancy or corporate level experience with exposure to a broad range of business issues. Specific experience in consumer or retail sectors is preferrable, travel industry experience and language skills are desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and understand a variety of internal and external economic and financial issues with impact to the business, to analyse data and forecast future business trends, to draw insights based on business needs and assessments
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to address all levels within the organisation
