We have a great opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a family-owned business based in Leighton Buzzard that are experiencing high levels of growth.
As a Finance manager, you are a pivotal part of the business and you will be relied upon to ensure the business decisions are driven by the financial results- this includes managing the Finance Team, driving the end-to-end accounting processes and all finance tasks within the company to ensure accurate data and the best use of resources.
Key responsibilities for a Finance Manager
Payment run check payments with credit terms, approve payments on internet banking
Payroll tasks overseeing and checking all payroll tasks, emailing out payslips, pension work, RTI file submissions, updating pension information, journaling wages into accounting software, paying PAYE and CIS.
Month end and reporting maintaining finance lease/HP Loan schedules, maintaining fixed asset schedule and depreciation, checking key nominal accounts, preparing and journaling accruals and prepayments and producing MMI to include P&L, BS, CA, CFS and ratio analysis.
Cash Flow management update and manage weekly cash flow forecast, cash management, responsible for accounts receivable and payable- ensuring all aged accounts are managed appropriately.
Integrated forecast monthly update of full year forecast, adjustments for new costs as appropriate and preparing annual budget for both divisions and consolidation
VAT Returns check transactions and submit return online
Ad-hoc Tasks ONS surveys, ad hoc payments, credit control assistance, stock management and year end stock take, reviewing and approving company insurance and motor fleet purchases and identifying risks and proposing solutions.
