Do you have a background in Property Management Accounts?
Due to increased market volumes, my client is expanding their Accounts team, the role covers all aspects of Property Management accounts including the daily allocation of receipts and payments and ensuring all the records on the Property Management software and associated reports are correctly maintained.
Duties of Accounts Assistant:
* Responsible for the accurate daily processing of activity on the client bank account allocating to the correct client records * Processing cheques and allocating to client records * Investigating and reallocating any discrepancies * Process new tenancies * Ensuring bank details of Landlords, Tenants and Suppliers are all verified before payments are made * Managing tenant deposits / supporting the Lettings and Property Managers to ensure that deposits are transferred to TDS at the correct time * Accurately process and reconcile any ad-hoc credits and debits * Processing and managing supplier and client payment runs * Processing bank transfers from client to office account to pay outstanding debtors * Provide training and guidance to finance team members to enable them to carry out PM accounts tasks during holiday periods;
* Previous property management accounts experience or equivalent * Strong communication skills * Excellent IT skills - with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; * High attention to detail / accuracy * Highly organised and ability to multi task * Self-motivated
