Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant into their team on a full time permanent basis.


  • Manage all purchase ledger activities, including matching invoices to purchase orders, processing & coding invoices, reconciling supplier statements, dealing with invoice queries
  • Raising Purchase Orders
  • Assisting with sales ledger duties, helping to deal with customer queries
  • Reconciling, coding & posting of monthly personal and company credit card expenses
  • Monthly timesheets for payroll
  • Maintaining SLA worksheet, chasing customer purchase orders, raising invoice to customer & ensuring relevant paperwork is raised & signed
  • Maintaining company phone system & holiday chart
  • Ad-hoc duties as request by Head of Finance & Finance Assistant

Person Specification:
  • Hard working, adaptable and flexible attitude to working
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A real team player, with pride in their work and a desire for success
  • Can-do attitude to help the company achieve short, medium and long-term goals
  • Able to manage their own time to optimise company output
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and customers
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office suite including Outlook Word, Excel
