Financial Analyst, Woking GU21. £30,000pa-£34,000pa + benefits. Located just a two-minute walk away from the Woking town centre. Monday-Friday. 9-5.30. Carpark on site.

Great Opportunity for new talent to join a fast-growing diverse and dynamic office.
Main Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst:
  • Managing the Purchase Ledger; posting invoices, responding to queries, reconciling supplier accounts and processing supplier payments.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation of the daily Cash Flow forecast.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly Management Information.
  • Report production for HMRC, FCA, auditors, banks and other stakeholders etc.
  • Assist and support with internal and external audits in relation to the firm’s financial activities.
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects.

Essential Skills:
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in Financial Services.
  • Good numerical skills and the ability to problem solve and be a logical thinker.
  • GCSE/ NVQ level including English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of common office systems, particularly the use of Advanced Excel.
  • Willing to learn and develop in the role itself and through additional accounting training.

  • Proficient in Microsoft, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a conscientious, friendly, and professional demeanour.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with a proactive 'can do' attitude; pragmatic, flexible, and solutions oriented.
  • Demonstrated openness, honesty, reliability, and integrity.

Qualifications preferable but no essential: Financial Analyst Role:
  • AAT qualified, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role preferable but not essential
