As a Careers Adviser , you will provide Information, Advice and Guidance to adults on various opportunities, including learning, career paths and employment. Primarily working in the community but may also be required to deliver sessions virtually. \r\n\r\n

This position is a permanent, full-time or part-time post (minimum 29.6 hours per week) \r\n\r\n

Qualifications and Experience \r\n\r\n
    \r\n\tQualified Careers Adviser with IAG qualification at Level 4 or above - essential \r\n\tA commitment to undertake additional training for the role \r\n\tEducated to at least A Level Standard and Maths and English GCSE C or above (or equivalent) \r\n\tExperience in face-to-face work. \r\n\tExperience in managing a caseload of adults/ young people from diverse backgrounds \r\n\tAwareness of the social and economic issues affecting people \r\n \r\n\r\n

    Responsibilities:
    \r\n\r\n

      \r\n\tDeliver clear and unbiased information, advice and guidance (IAG) as part of the National Careers Service. \r\n\tYou will work through Job centres, libraries, colleges and community settings to groups or on a one-to-one basis. \r\n\tSome client contact will be via phone or video call. unbiased \r\n\tTo provide IAG on all matters relating to learning and work, including employment, education and training \r\n\tAchieve a range of set quantitative and qualitative targets using a caseload management approach and effectively utilising the CRM \r\n\tIdentify and engage with priority customer groups to identify barriers to their progression \r\n\tSupport customers to produce a personal action plan \r\n \r\n\r\n
