Senior FP&A Analyst - The Role \r\n\r\n

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will gain an understanding of the key business drivers and metrics to create accurate reports with dashboards and insight-driven commentary. \r\n\r\n

Specifically, your role will include: \r\n\r\n
    \r\n\tProduce regular business performance reports on key performance indicators; \r\n\tProvide analysis on profitability and trends to assist with SLT decision-making and strategy; \r\n\tIdentify and communicate competitive and market issues to the SLT; \r\n\tImprove and coordinate budget and forecasting processes; \r\n\tPrepare cash flow forecasts managing liquidity and financial risks; \r\n\tAssist with review of the 5-year business plan and provide input to the strategic planning process; \r\n\tAssist with financial modelling and scenario planning analysis; \r\n\tLiaise with the wider finance team to support any financial forecasting requirements and analysis; \r\n\tSupport the internal & external audit programme; \r\n\tEnsure financial compliance with all matters relating to the FCA. \r\n \r\n\r\n
    The Successful Applicant \r\n\r\n

    As Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience working in or with the insurance sector. Part qualified accountants with strong experience in financial forecasting and budgeting processes will also be considered. \r\n\r\n

    This role could appeal if you’re looking for your first move out of an accountancy practice, especially if you’ve had an insurance sector client base. \r\n\r\n

    Ideally, you will demonstrate: \r\n\r\n
      \r\n\tStrong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels; \r\n\tStrength to work under pressure and adapt to change; \r\n\tSelf-starter with can-do attitude; \r\n\tGood understanding of P&L’s, cash flows and financial performance reporting; \r\n\tStrong analytical and financial skills, with a high degree of competency in financial modelling and Excel. \r\n \r\n\r\n
