Senior Specialist-CMS Operations-Government Banking

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Overall supervision & monitoring of Transaction Processing of GBG operations.
  • Understands the dynamics of tax & pension payments - procedures, types of payments methods to be able to manage stakeholder expectations
  • Implement and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and enforce compliance with SOPs
  • Integrate technologies into business operations of the organization to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of processes
  • Co-ordination and Liaison with multiple stakeholders and ensure delivery within committed TATs
  • Understand customer needs and preferences & keeps customer requirements ahead of everything else and strives to create unmatched value for customers. Co-ordinate for resolution of Customer Issues & ensure resolution within a time bound manner - Establish Metrics / controls for Governance of operational parameters
  • Co-ordinate with internal and external teams for timely submission of key regulatory reports
  • Track risk control adhernce rate for the unit.
  • Publish dashboards to stakeholders on overall governance'
  • Understand and evaluate the operating environment and keep updated on market developments and translate these into priorities for self, team and the organization.
  • Develops individual talent by providing ongoing feedback and creating individual development plans to enable people to reach their full potential

Secondary Responsibilities

'Focuses on creating products or solutions with unmatched quality at optimal cost with the available resources, identifies mechanisms to improve processes and continuously measures progress to ensure achievement of goals.

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities

'- Training & mentoring the team members to quickly absorb the Bank's DNA on Customer First.

  • Connecting with each team member to understand their concerns which helps to maintain Staff Attrition.
  • Empowering Team Leads to make them confident to take decisions for driving the projects
  • Resolve all the Queries, Collect feedback on process change from team and take up with stakeholders.
