What you'll be doing:

You will provide accounting and administrative support to the Total Waste Management (TWM) Finance team. Including:
  • Core Accounting responsibilities; to include the production of Management Accounts, Forecasts, Budgets and Balance Sheet Reconciliations together with assisting with external Audit
  • Business Partner responsibilities, include being the primary support to the contract to the Operations team
  • At all times ensuring compliance with internal procedures and controls
This role will involve gaining experience from the current team to grow within the region with a view to taking on responsibility for some contracts.

What we're looking for:
  • You will be a part or fully qualified accountant, with a recognised accountancy qualification (i.e. CIMA / ACCA / ACA / AAT) and financial systems experience (Google Office applications and advanced Excel), ideally with business partnering experience and interpersonal skills to work with the wider business.
  • And with a keen eye for the required detail, you will ensure accuracy of all financial transactions, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • We're also looking for someone who can be flexible and self-motivated in their approach to daily tasks, with the ability to work alone as well as with various teams to strict deadlines.
