We are excited to welcome a Finance Manager to our dynamic team at our organisation. Reporting directly to our CEO, this is a unique opportunity to shape and build our finance function at both an operational and strategic level. This role will play a pivotal part in our organisation's growth and development.

As our Finance Manager, you will lead our finance function, overseeing day-to-day financial operations and reporting. With a commitment to promoting robust financial control, you will design and implement new processes that align with the evolving needs of our charity. This is a new role for our organisation and the finance manager will support us with bringing the finance function inhouse and help shape its future.

You will also collaborate closely with our CEO and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to contribute to strategic initiatives supporting our mission and business growth.

This is more than just a role; it's an opportunity to be a key player in our mission to provide young people experiencing homelessness with access to the best opportunities and positively impact their lives.



  • Financial Reporting: Take ownership of accurate financial reporting, including sales invoicing, bookkeeping, grant management, and payroll management.
  • Team Management: Providing guidance and support to the Operations and Projects Assistant, and overseeing central operations with a focus on financial resilience.
  • Process Improvement: Design and implement new processes to adapt to the evolving needs of the organisation and ensure a rigorous financial control environment.
  • System Optimisation: Leverage your expertise to make the most of our financial systems, including Xero and Salesforce.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the CEO and SLT to contribute to strategic initiatives that align with the charity's goals and support business growth.
