We are looking for a Finance Manager (ACA/ACCA Qualified) with expertise in financial management and reporting, who is passionate about leveraging their skills to support the growth and success of our DeepTech AI startup. Reporting into the COO with a dotted line into the fractional CFO, this role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of the company.Key
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the DeepTech AI startup, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the fractional CFO to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives and expansion plans in the UK, NL, North of France, and Israel.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management, optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management, guiding decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies, identifying and mitigating risks to safeguard the company's assets and reputation.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities, maintaining strong relationships and facilitating compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support fundraising activities and investor relations efforts, providing financial data and analysis to potential investors and stakeholders as needed.
- Actively contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives, collaborating with teams across the organization to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
- ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the technology or startup industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to apply them in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Hebrew is required; fluency in English is also essential.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving, with the ability to drive results and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in a startup environment or with remote teams is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues across different geographies.
