Rhubarb Hospitality Collection is a premium Events and Catering business founded 30 years ago. The Group operates a collection of iconic restaurants, bars and venues across the UK, US and Berlin.

In 2024 the company will continue to grow in both the US and Europe and is therefore looking for an ambitious, newly qualified Management Accountant to support this growth.

With RHC providing the Food and Beverage at the Co-Op Live arena in Manchester due to open in April 24 this will become a key focus for the new position. The role will involve exposure to the full finance function of operating the arena and will require communication with all key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation and financial success of the site.

This position would suit a qualified Management Accountant who has the composure and communicative ability to accurately present analysis and reports to Stakeholders, Executives and Investors.

As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include
  • Full responsibility for Management Account production for our entire portfolio.
  • Preparation of Month End reports for board pack production.
  • Providing analysis to help improve performance and decision making across divisions within the business
  • Project Work - tying in with ad hoc analysis there is also scope to be involved in a number of ongoing and pipelined projects as the business continues to grow.
  • Assisting Chief Financial Officer & Senior Management Accountant with both year-end audit and other ad hoc duties.


What you'll need to succeed
  • An accountancy qualification - either ACA, ACCA or preferably CIMA qualified - and ideally with experience within retail, catering, events or hotel environment.
  • Comprehensive MS office knowledge (Word, Excel, etc.) and ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience.
  • Exposure to multi-currency accounting.

Please note this will initially be an office based role, Monday to Friday, transitioning to hybrid following an induction period. We’d then anticipate you would work 3 days in the office, 2 from home.
