Look no further! We're actively seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to become a key player in our bustling team based in Wirral.
As a Senior Financial Accountant, your main responsibility is to effectively oversee the production of monthly and annual reports, covering both statutory and regulatory requirements. Your main focus lies in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting within the Finance department and across the wider business, ultimately facilitating well-informed business decisions. Additionally, you will be tasked with generating Value for Money reports and analyses to identify potential cost efficiencies and enhance operating margins. This involves preparing comprehensive business cases for presentation to the Executive team. Taking on a leadership role, you will be committed to developing and promoting best practices to maximise capitalization and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week, Hybrid working, 2 days in office.
Senior Financial Accountant Requirements:
We would particularly like to hear from candidates who are CCAB qualified or actively working towards a qualification with experience working in the social housing sector. This will include a strong track record of ensuring all financial controls are adhered to, significant experience of balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, and experience of managing a small team.
