Salary:
£27,000 to £32,000 depending on experience

Job type: Full time, 37.5 hours per week with 3.30pm finishes each Friday.

The Role:

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to join a specialist manufacturer based in Congleton? We are looking for someone highly experienced to take ownership in this area. This role will also encompass all aspects of finance, albeit you would have sole responsibility of the credit control function.

The Credit Control Specialist will be key in developing on-going relationships with customers to ensure their accounts are fully supported from start to finish. We are looking for someone who is naturally inquisitive, able to think on their feet and who will help to develop reports and processes to provide continual improvement within the Finance Team.

You will be working closely with other department across the business including supporting the Directors with particular focus on working with the Sales Team.

Key duties will involve:
  • Banking
  • Customer Accounts
  • Month end duties
  • Customer reporting/Analysis including creating and analysis of new and existing reports
  • Working with Sales Directors to interpret data and support their individual requirements
  • Year End
  • Development work and projects

Experience required:

We are looking for someone who is experienced working within Credit Control, who has an understanding of all other elements of finance and who is willing to be involved with the management accounts.

Key skills required:
  • Strong IT skills in particular Excel
  • Use of ERP systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Have strong organisational skills and be self-driven
  • Able to build strong working relationships both internally and with both customers and suppliers

Hours of work:

37.5 hours over 5 days a week (Monday - Friday with an early finish on Fridays)
