Job summary
  • The MDM Specialist is the Subject Matter Expert who is expected to work closely with the Master Data Management Manager, Global Business Process Owner, regional finance while collaborating with the commercial & procurement functions to maintain accurate information, data quality, and improve the Master Data governance, compliance, and adherence to the operating procedures.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance data management
  • Perform data audits and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies and errors
  • Train and upskill team members to maintain a high level of transaction quality
  • Monthly KPI Reporting, trend analysis insights shared with the regions
  • Review process documentation and standard operating procedure documents. Ensure alignment with Global BPO
  • GRC controls â€' validation of self-assessments & control evidence
  • Focal for UAT testing on Project GAIN rollouts

  • Global Finance Business Process Owner
  • Svitzer Finance Regional and Local Finance Teams
  • Commercial and Procurement functions
  • GSC Finance teams

Primary external stakeholders
  • Svitzer IT
  • AMCO

Required experience
  • 5+ years of MDM or system process experience with a thorough and solid understanding of end-to-end set-up and maintenance of MDM processes.
  • Must have a demonstrated strong understanding of overall accounting including concepts like depreciation, month end close and fixed asset accounting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

Technical skills
  • Good Knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Preferable experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, KissFlow, Basware

Business skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language
