AB InBev India is looking to hire Senior Manager-Internal Controls & Reporting for its Finance function based out of Bangalore.

Primary Purpose of the role

Responsible to ensure appropriateness of internal controls in place to mitigate risk and drive the culture to ensure compliance and adherence

Key Tasks & Accountabilities: -

1.People Management
  • Recruit, mentor, motivate and direct team to ensure delivery with the best quality
  • Empower team and provide a safe space for the team talent to shine and outgrow

  • Evaluate risk management framework and drive transformation to prioritize compliance with regulations
  • Drive a culture of process improvement, robustness, and adherence through targeted initiatives on building controls literacy
  • Build and maintain the framework for testing of process robustness across the organization and take corrective actions on a timely basis to improve SOX compliance score

  • Hands on with preparation of financial statements as per IFRS and India GAAP
  • Be able to drive statutory audits independently, ensure closure within statutory timelines
  • Drive and ensure timely month/quarter/year end closure

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:

Education & Experience
  • CA (Must have), MBA from Tier-I college (Preferred)
  • 6+ year work experience will be preferred
  • Prior experience in Controls, Reporting, Audit etc.

Skills and/or knowledge
  • Business and Commercial acumen
  • To be abreast with latest development in standards and law
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong people skills and ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders with a change-agent mindset
  • Ability to differentiate between conflicting priorities and issues to identify underlying causes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively
