Alegeus seeks a Team Lead, Treasury Operations to join our dedicated, passionate team of professionals.The Team Lead, Treasury Operations will report to the Senior Manager, Treasury Operations, and will be responsible for helping our company succeed by providing accounting and analytical support for the Investment Operations department, including preparation and review of daily cash and investment accounting requirements and leadership of team-level projects and departmental strategic initiatives.MISSION

1.Provide review support for an end-to-end custodial and investment accounting program, including providing oversight over a daily/monthly close process
2.Build scale and drive efficiencies through automation opportunities and supporting a general ledger implementation
3.Ensure we provide timely and accurate custodial cash accounting deliverables and comply with established Service Level Agreements
4.Partner with required internal and external parties to ensure continued controls and process compliance in adherence with SOC1 and other engagements
5.Leverage internal tools and knowledge of Alegeus systems and processes to support large, complex, and interdepartmental projects with company-wide impacts
6.Organize and lead team-level projects to improve internal processes and support team efficiency objectives
The desired candidateshould have extensive accounting experience in a operational treasury field, investment accounting and risk management functions. ROLE-BASED COMPETENCIES:
The desired candidate will have excellent and proven Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), problem solving, and organizational skills as well as a commitment to quality, process improvements and meeting deadlines.A knowledge of accounting processes and a demonstrated ability to leverage that knowledge in support of both daily tasks and larger projects is critical to success in the role.VALUES (the 'How')

.All responsibilities for this role will be in service of the Outcomes
.This role will need to partner with others on the Investment Operations team to execute strategy in coordination and partnership with our clients
.Beyond the Investment Operations team, this role will need to build strong partnerships with Financial Operations, Finance, Customer Success, and Banking Operations in order to realize some of the outcomes
.This role operates in a team environment, and experience operating in that environment is preferredEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
.Bachelor's degree, or equivalent degree, is required, with a focus in a business-related field of study (Accounting, Business Admin, Economics, or Finance) preferred
.5-10 years of relevant work experience is required
.Historical oversight over daily accounting procedures is required
.Strong Excel knowledge is required - pivots/lookups/IF statements
.Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team is preferred
.SQL or VBA knowledge is preferred but not requiredPERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- A passion for healthcare, financial services, behavioral economics, consumerism and/or any combination of these disciplines
- Strong interest in learning new things and comfort in pushing new boundaries
