Your new role
Assist the Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager in delivering a high-quality financial intelligence solution:

  • Maintain and enhance existing financial dashboards, develop new dashboards for fresh datasets. Examples could include financial performance analysis, cash flow projections, contract valuation, accounts receivable (AR) analysis, intercompany transactions.
  • Training new users and conducting demos of new financial dashboards.
  • Utilise SQL skills to cleanse financial data and enhance reporting - making new financial fields available for use in Phocas.

Assist the Group FP&A Manager with Excel-based financial reporting and analysis:

  • Produce and refine various Excel financial reports. Examples could include enhancing churn / Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) retention reporting to include analysis by product line. Updating ARR budget/forecast models. Preparing revenue by country report. Reporting on ARR upsell - price vs. volume analysis. Streamlining Transfer Pricing file.
  • Integration of new companies / new acquisitions - mapping their financial datasets so that they can be incorporated into existing Excel and/or Phocas reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience with Business Intelligence software such as Phocas or Power BI, particularly in a financial context.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup formulas/ VBAs and Macros, with an emphasis on financial modelling and analysis.
  • Comfortable working with large financial data sets to produce accurate and meaningful financial analysis.
  • Ability to learn new financial applications and systems quickly and effectively.
