Firth is a leading supplier of ready mixed concrete, masonry products and premix products to the construction industry either directly or through building product distributors.
It has over 2,500 active customer accounts and products are used across all building sectors and environments.
We currently have an opportunity for a Financial & Management Accountant to join the team, reporting to the Finance Manager with responsibilities for 2 direct reports.
As a member of the Finance team, you will play a key role in the delivery of an efficient finance service that drives a culture of customer service excellence and continuous improvement and ensures business engagement and satisfaction is continually maintained.

Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role
Responsible for carrying out a range of accounting functions and tasks to support finance team goals.

Reviewing and ensuring correct coding of transactional information
Ensure compliance with Group financial and reporting requirements.
Provide of accurate, timely and cost effective financial and commercial support to the business
Monthly management reporting and capital expenditure reporting
Ngā Pūmanawa | What You Will Bring

Tertiary qualifications in accounting
3 years' experience in financial transactional processing, financial reporting, and analysis.
General experience with NZ compliance (entertainment, FBT, RWT, GST, taxation).
Effective communication skills at multiple levels of the organisation, including management and cross-functional groups
Proven experience in managing relationships and developing and maintaining personal credibility with stakeholders.
Analyses, organizes, and presents key numeric and financial data effectively
