Our client is a Public Sector Social Care business providing supported living services. They are looking for a Finance Manager to join their growing team and take control of the finance function across the group. This role is paying up to £55,000 plus benefits.
Your new role
In this newly created role, reporting to the Group Director, you will be responsible for a finance team covering all aspects of bookkeeping, management and financial accounting, treasury, banking, VAT and reporting, balance sheet, budgeting, forecasting, cost-analysis, audit, and year-end - along with bridging the gap and reporting all finance advisories to senior leadership (non-finance background)
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an all-round finance professional qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or QBE) with proven experience gained in a Public Sector of Not-for-Profit environment. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as excellent reporting, analysis, and staff supervision experience. You will have experience of process review and making recommendations for improvements in systems and procedures. You will have experience of Sage and strong Excel capability.
