Our client is a privately owned, cutting edge, research, design, manufacturing and retail business which sells its products internationally in the B2B and B2C markets.
They have offices near Colchester, Essex and operate on a hybrid working basis.
Due to investment and exciting growth plans, they are working with Hays to recruit a Qualified Accountant to join the business as Finance Manager, to report to the Directors and take ownership of finance and provide quality management information and analysis to provide decision support and influence strategic plans.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director, the Finance Manager will manage a Finance Administrator and take ownership of finance, IT (Sage & Excel) and company secretarial matters.
They will be responsible for the day to day accounting and reporting for the business.
Manage working capital and cashflow forecasting
Produce, develop and present monthly management reporting/board pack (Sage, Excel, PowerPoint)
Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
Budgeting and forecasting
Managing payment runs
Accounts Payable, Receivable and Credit Control
Liaise with the Auditors
IT - maintenance and development Sage and Excel
What you\'ll need to succeed
The Finance Manager will be a Qualified Accountant, "Hands on" who enjoys working in a collaborative, team environment where you can be creative, develop processes, systems, reporting and influence.
What you\'ll get in return
The Finance Manager will be offered a highly competitive salary in the region of £50,000 to £65,000 plus benefits.
23 days holiday plus 2-3 days Christmas shut down and bank holidays
Hybrid working 3 days office 2 days work from home
