Employer based in Chippenham, Wiltshire with offices in West Bromwich also and the role can be based out of either office.


Your new role


Head of Treasury is a full time permanent role to lead on treasury activities/functions, ensuring delivery of the treasury strategy and compliance with the treasury policy and relevant financial procedures and regulations. You will provide an effective and efficient treasury service across the Group and also provide expertise on treasury matters to Board, Committees, Executive and Leadership Group.
You will be required to take the lead role in the preparation of materials for funders, ratings agencies and other external stakeholders and provide project management support to the Corporate Finance Directorate.
You will be expected to support the Group by undertaking performance improvement projects.
This role will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to bring key Corporate Finance Projects to a successful conclusion and will have two direct reports.


What you'll need to succeed


Candidates will need to be ACMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with significant post qualification experience or will have QBE status with a proven record in Senior Treasury management.
You must have significant experience of working in a Treasury department and strong client relationship skills with the ability to build working relationships across the business and externally at all levels of management.
Knowledge of statutory reporting and of UK and International GAAP and accounting standards; financial and management accounts production, budgeting and re-forecasting, commercial performance management, working capital cost control, finance process and systems change.
Good team worker with strong interpersonal skills and be able to strengthen relationships with other teams and negotiate and influence.
Experience of preparing and presenting accurate, concise reports to executives, committees and Boards is also essential for this role
