Full time permanent Finance Officer position working in a Public Sector Charity in the Cardiff City centre. Working in an exciting fast paced Finance department that are expanding due to work load.
My client have established themselves as a regional charity all over the UK. They are recruitng for an Assistant Management accountant to work alongside the current MA. They have several branches in the Cardiff City centre ajnd you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts of each branch.
The key responsibilities include:
-Assisting with month end and year end reports
-Assisting with year end audits
-Working on both ledgers
-Chasing debt and controlling the credit
-Paying suppliers and working with internal colleagues
-Assisting the MA with budgets & Forecasts
-Inputting the Payroll for the charity into SAGE
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA / ACA / CIMA. Experience or knowledge of the public sector is important. Payroll, Month end, excel, sage are key skills for this role.
