Apex Group is looking for an experienced and dedicated Reconciliations Officer to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time reconciliations role is based in Auckland and offers an attractive salary and benefits package. The role is offered for 12 months.
As a Reconciliations Officer, you will provide our wealth and fund administration operations teams with superior reconciliations, ensuring the maintenance of an excellent service for our clients.
In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:

Prepare Apex Client daily application/withdrawal accounts reconciliations accurately
Ensure all reconciliation exceptions are cleared in a timely manner
Take the initiative in resolving and liaising with other staff to achieve this
Resolve unreconciled items, including regular aged reporting of them to Team Leader
Prepare other reconciliation and monthly reporting as required.

To succeed in this role, you should have good email/verbal communication skills together with knowledge of the PIE Tax regime. You will also need:

Working knowledge of Kiwisaver
Attention to detail
The ability to use initiative and problem-solving
Good numeracy skills.
