We are recruiting for a Specialist to join our team. This varied role will give the successful candidate significant exposure to the UK Shareholder Services and Corporate client environment.

This is a flexi role, with a requirement to attend the Worthing or London office.

Equiniti Corporate Dealing (ECD) is a Middle Office department, managing complex and often high value transactions on behalf of;
  • Certificated/Bereavement Transactions
  • Bespoke Share Plan Dealing Corporate accounts
  • IPO Selling Shareholders and Secondary Placings
  • Corporate Employee Benefit Trusts and Corporate/Institutional clients
  • High Net Worth clients
Role Summary
You will support the successful operational planning and delivery of key tasks, using/developing specialist knowledge and liaising with our key stakeholders. The role will cover a minimum of two ECD products, focusing on Certificated and Bereavement trading, Share Plan Dealing and IPO Selling Shareholders/Secondary Placings.

Core Duties/Responsibilities
  • Be an integral part of the team performing operational work processes and activities
  • Work autonomously, undertaking BAU work across multiple products.
  • Perform a variety of the most complex tasks within ECD.
  • Expected to take a broad perspective to problems; initiate new, less obvious solutions.
  • Represent ECD when communicating with Relationship Managers/Directors
  • Perform verification and authorisation functions.
  • Work in conjunction with the Manager to achieve department goals.
  • Seek to grow and share understanding through osmosis.

Skills, Attributes and Behaviour:
  • Have in depth knowledge of your current discipline, gained through job-related training and considerable work experience.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal guidance within established procedures and practices.
  • Act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others where required.
  • Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders
  • An intermediate knowledge level of Excel
  • Analyse complex technical problems and deliver solutions.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to working hours when volumes dictate.
