Based in Macclesfield, a successful manufacturing company are seeking a Credit Controller to join their team. Working in a team of 2 you will join a stable and efficient function.

As the Credit Controller, you will hold a valued role where you can showcase your skills.
Reporting to the Credit Manager you will be responsible for working on your own portfolio, contacting business customers by telephone in order to retrieve their overdue payments and query management.
As part of this varied role you will check the credit worthiness of new and existing business clients by means of credit checking, update and amend accounts. sending out invoices and build those important business relations presenting a professional and helpful manner at all times.

What you\'ll need to succeed
Previous Credit Control experience preferred (however training will be provided)
Excellent customer service experience, preferably working on phones
Proficient in Excel and or/Sage 200 preferred
Great attitude to learning
Able to work independently or as part of a team
What you\'ll get in return
£up to £27Kper annum
23days holidays plus bank holidays plus the option to buy and sell more
Hours 8.30-5pm Monday to Friday
