Based in the heart of London, your new company is an exciting and fast-growing underwriting firm who operate out of their modern, open-plan, 6th Floor office. You will be joining a driven, friendly and sociable team that are committed to achieving quality results on a regular basis. Your new company operates a flexible hybrid model, with Mondays and Fridays from home, and Tues-Thurs in the office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience within the professional services as part of a dynamic and hard-working team!


Your new role


Your new role as a credit controller is to support the current credit team with collections. You will be chasing brokers via phone and email, allocating receipts against broker accounts, creating supplier payment runs and assisting with wider finance admin duties. You will work 5 days a week, 09:00 - 13:00 each day with Mondays and Fridays from home, and Tuesday-Thursday in the office.


What you\'ll need to succeed


In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be keen to learn, have a sharp eye for detail and be willing to throw yourself into any challenge that comes your way. You will need good excel skills and will need to be confident picking up the phone to collect outstanding payments. You will need a minimum of 2 years experience in a credit controller position, and a strong understanding of the accounts receivable function.
