Your new role
As a Senior Finance Manager, you would be responsible for the following:

  • Provide sound and strategic commercial business advice to the business, ensuring that the Board are given comprehensive knowledge as to the financial and performance consequences of commercial decisions.
  • Provide a professional Finance Business Partnering and Solution driven service that enables the business to continuously improve its business performance.
  • Be responsible for the Finance function in the UK, including the Management Accounts.
  • Work strongly together with the Cost Controller.
  • Lead and develop a team of 3 people ensuring all aspects of the financial activities are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Build and manage strong working relationships with a wider variety of stakeholders including Board Members, Senior Leaders, Head Office stakeholder to ensure the ability to make sound judgement to maintain high standards of reporting.
  • Advise and support managers, departments and employees regarding all financial topics ensuring compliance with local Government guidelines and processes.
  • Deputy for all aspects of the Head of Finance on a regular basis.

  • A strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
  • Demonstrable background in day to day accounting including credit control, statutory accounting and audits
  • Collaborative nature and proven ability to work well using your own initiative as well as building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing, supporting, and developing a team of three
