  • Full ownership and preparation, control and explain of ALL periodic Bank of England statistical reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • London Branch and compliance with BoE guidelines. Primarily various monthly forms such as BT, BE, AL, AD, BN, LN, and quarterly CC, DQ, PL and BG etc. Ensure returns are submitted within deadlines.
  • Preparation, control and explain of half yearly PRA Branch return.
  • Reply on a timely manner queries from Bank of England.
  • Regulatory data analysis and reconciliation especially working in close coordination with financial accounting and product accounting colleagues to ensure reporting is consistent with the GL.
  • Pro-active liaison with Project Change, Financial Accounting and IT team members to ensure that reporting templates are delivered to the required level of accuracy with necessary controls.
  • To be actively involved in systems improvement of AGILE REPORTER and procedural changes, control and testing of external vendor reporting software in anticipation of external/internal change.
  • When required, assist develop/prototype new tactical processes, models, process automations and improve controls. E deep dive analysis, movement analysis and reconciliation of reporting templates to ledger.
  • Support and take ownership of in maintaining the integrity of regulatory reporting systems including the static data workflow approval for regulatory reporting.   • Support daily Capital by Desk reporting specifically counterparty/credit risk, all market risk calculations and maintenance of appropriate adjustments and resultant key internal andexternal ratio metrics.
  • Support the daily large exposure and leverage ratio monitoring, ensuring adherence to PRA limits and providing concise analysis and commentary on variances.
  • Support various stakeholders' queries and capital usage analysis.
  • Continue to gain knowledge of CRR2/CRD capital rules specifically in relation to counterparty risk, equity risk, leverage ratio and specific and general interest rate risk and demonstrate ability to apply knowledge to reporting, e referencing to the relevant CRR articles.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Strong experience of external Bank of England returns and statistical regulatory reporting requirements, risk or product control function in an investment banking environment or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of investment banking products including their economics and risk profiles (Bond/Derivatives/Repo/Loans);
  • Previous work experience where candidate had to meet tight deadlines and take responsibility and ownership for their output;
  • Proven history of achieving team objective in a high pressure environment and meeting deadlines;
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting stakeholder interaction and requests for information/analysis;
  • Proven experience of process improvements and standardisation and change life cycles;
  • Demonstrable experience in building new processes, working to tight deadlines across a range of deliverables;
  • A combination of >1-2years relevant experience.
  • Understanding of statistical and green notices from Bank of England and impact on reporting.
