Based in Newmarket in a great location in new offices, there is plenty of activity within the group which ensures there numerous opportunities to develop and grow your commercial accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

Business Partnering:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with operations across New Zealand which includes occasional travel (once per month on average)
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the commercial aspects of the business.
Provide accurate financial forecasts and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Analyse budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
Costing and Inventory Valuations:

Manage and enhance costing models to ensure accurate product cost calculations.
Conduct regular inventory valuations and analysis to optimise stock levels.
Implement cost control measures and contribute to continuous improvement in cost efficiency.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance.

We are looking for someone who has a strong business partnering/analysis background, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing. A familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel together with excellent communication and negotiation skills would be ideal for this role.
