The Role
As the Time & Attendance Project Business Analyst you will act as an interface between the NZ Payroll team part of Finance, Strategy and Performance Unit and other Fletcher Building Business Units and/or departments to deliver the T&A project to enable efficient capture, processing and analysis of time and attendance data and workforce management across our NZ businesses. You will support the delivery of the T&A system to fulfill the requirements of the business across NZ in line with best practices and promote best in class.
This contract role will see you working with internal customers to understand their business requirements aligning with payroll processes. You will provide proactive support to the T&A system implementation project across business units T&A sites and people to optimize and maintain accurate and compliant inputs to payroll. You will establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers to understand operational issues, to mitigate risks and to capitalise on project opportunities.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to have project SME experience or similar. You will have a solid technical understanding of T&A and payroll systems including integration experience. Your excellent communication skills with a high-level accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST.
You have proven experience of accurate project documentation for presenting to the appropriate governance forums for their consideration. You can analyse and interpret end to end processes and data to provide business insights. You can interpret Collective Employment agreements in to pay rules, develop test scripts, run end to end testing and have a good understand of integrations.
Previous experience on Chris21 and Workforce Software is advantageous. Proficient with Microsoft MS Word and Excel.
