Your new company
A well established, privately owned and market leading organisation, with B2B and B2C routes to market, is recruiting a Finance Manager to join their team. You will be working in a pleasant office space (with free parking) 3-4 days a week, with home-working available 1-2 days a week.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting, overseeing a team of 3. You will be a key individual within the team, responsible for generating monthly management accounts, cash-flow reporting and the preparation of statutory accounts. You will need to be prepared to be hands-on and undertake some accounts administration and credit control as and when required. The role requires strong attention to detail, the appetite to improve systems/processes and the flexibility to pitch in with ad hoc tasks as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of a hands-on role including management accounting within an owner-managed/SME environment, ideally with existing people management experience. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. IT literate, particularly with Excel and Sage 50 experience would be an advantage. The ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload, and meet deadlines as required.
