Manager, Capital Markets Accounting (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, San Francisco, CA. Advise clients on complex financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational events. Interact with senior company management teams, bankers, lawyers, and other advisers. Provide expertise on multiple complex accounting topics. Writing and communicating cogently to clients and industry audiences within a professional services environment. Managing a wide range of accounting and advisory related projects. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Manage accounting and advisory project economics, workflow, budgets, billing, collections, and resource requirements. Supervise and coach professional teams.

 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $142,000-$142,000/yr.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.

 

Certification(s) required: US CPA license or foreign equivalent.

 

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

-         Advising multi-national, publicly traded companies & private equity firms on a range of technical accounting, financial reporting & capital market topics, including at least one of the following areas: IPOs, debt offerings, private placements, carve-outs and/or spin-offs;

-         Advising on accounting issues in at least one of the following areas: acquisitions, alliances/joint ventures, post deal accounting, restructurings, restatements, or bankruptcies;

-         Applying US GAAP, SEC reporting, IFRS, and reporting concepts and rules to resolve client issues; and,

-         Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.

 

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

 

Domestic and/or international travel up to 60% required.
