£23,100 - £26,250 (dependent on experience)

Working hours: 37.5; Monday- Friday: 09:00-17:00

Amy Wilson (Senior Accountant) is on the hunt for an 'Accounts Payable Clerk' to come and join her team within a hybrid role. Whether you are based within the North East or Manchester, we would 100% love to hear from you.

Within this role, you will play a critical part in the accurate recording of supplier invoices and timely payments in accordance with our Lookers' policies.

Responsibilities
  • Accurate and timely registration of invoices into ADP to be authorised in line with the authority matric, also the passing of invoices
  • Ensuring timely payment runs and responding promptly to supplier queries
  • Ensuring accurate recovery of input VAT
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliation
  • Maintaining timely closure of purchase ledger at month end in accordance with management accounts deadlines

Qualifications

We are on the hunt for an individual who has prior experience within the world of Purchase Ledger. Do you currently work within the field of Automotive or are you ready to make that move?

In this role excellent communication and organisational skills are a must, we are also looking for an individual who is naturally analytical and can show excellent attention to detail. Not forgetting strong commercial acumen and customer focus too. We are also looking for an individual who is able to think outside the box when it comes to issue resolution as well as has detailed knowledge of accounting and IT systems.
