We have a new, exciting, permanent opportunity available for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team in Slivertown.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your role will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reconciliation: Skillfully reconciling supplier statements with posted entries in Dimensions, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Cash Handling: Posting daily cash transactions from Barclays statements and allocating payments to various accounts
  • Supplier Management: Updating supplier accounts in the Dimensions system to maintain accurate records
  • Invoice Processing: Entering invoices into our finance system and making payments when necessary
  • Mailbox Management: Taking charge of our HG Purchase Ledger mailbox, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups
  • Query Resolution: Investigating and providing answers to queries, with the support of the Purchase Ledger Supervisor.

ABOUT YOU
  • Job Experience: Approximately 12-18 months of job-specific experience, demonstrating your ability to handle purchase ledger tasks effectively
  • Computer Literacy: A high level of computer literacy to navigate our systems and processes efficiently
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with change and possessing a continuous improvement mentality, ready to embrace new challenges and improvements in our operations
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with our business and supplier partners
  • Collaborative Spirit: A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to our team's success
