The Impact You'll Have:

We are seeking a Team Leader to join our Finance Department. In this role, you will lead a team of 6 and ensure that our trade suppliers and overheads' suppliers are paid accurately and on time. Experience in executing end-to-end payment processes, preferably in a team management setting, is ideal for this position.

Your Day-to-Day

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Supplier Payments team to ensure timely capture of all payments for the weekly payment run
  • Perform detailed reviews of the payment file to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Identify key risks and implement strong internal controls to mitigate them
  • Standardize and document key payment processes
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and automation
  • Support the Supplier Payments Manager in supplier-related recoveries
  • Track and report weekly department KPIs
  • Collaborate with other teams to handle finance-related inquiries
  • Assist the Financial Reporting team with period-end and audit-related queries
  • Mentor and coach team members

Your Skillset:
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Understanding of supplier disputes and recoveries
  • Familiarity with operational efficiency and finance automation
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with payments and reconciliation systems
  • Understanding of key risks in payment processes
  • Self-starter and proactive mindset

Desirable, but not necessary, skills:
  • G Suite experience
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
