Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of relevant work experience in accounting, possess strong financial acumen, and be proficient in handling various financial tasks such as basic accounting, payments and reconciliation, management information systems (MIS), payroll, and taxation. This is a full-time position based in our office.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Basic Accounting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Payments and Reconciliation: Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors and employees. Reconcile financial discrepancies and rectify errors.
  • MIS (Management Information Systems): Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights and assist in decision-making. Prepare regular financial statements and reports for management.
  • Payroll: Manage the payroll process, including calculating employee salaries, deductions, and tax withholdings. Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Taxation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws that may impact the organization.

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
    • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
