What you'll be doing:

The Assistant Management Accountant will work closely with budget holders within the business to produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts and analysis, along with various other responsibilities as listed below.

This is a development role, who must be CIMA/ACCA part qualified and committed to continuing their studies to become fully qualified.

Produce accurate monthly management accounts for the full P&Ls (Revenue & Expenses) and report results to the Finance Manager.

Produce detailed monthly variance analysis

Forecasts & budgets

Monthly group reporting (via company consolidation system)

Work with budget holders to ensure best practice in line with company policy.

Balance Sheet controls including preparation of monthly control account reconciliations.

Ensuring all contracts within the remit are complying with company finance procedures and policies.

Involvement with general finance duties e.g. invoicing, monitoring systems, etc

What we're looking for:

CIMA/ACCA part qualified with desire to continue and complete studies

Experience in a similar role

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Google applications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to liaise confidently with all parts of the business

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
