Hays Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with this world-wide, fast developing company based in Coventry to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger to join their dynamic finance team.
Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger you will be responsible for the whole start-to-end processing of the ledger. This will include coding suppliers' invoices, maintaining a log of all invoices and expense claims, chasing unauthorised invoices and posting authorised supplier invoices onto the system. You will also prepare monthly payment runs and reconcile supplier statements. Whilst the role will be first and foremost Purchase Ledger there will be the scope to develop your role to cover accruals, prepayments and intercompany reconciliations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have proven longevity in a Purchase Ledger role. You will be confident with Purchase Ledger processing from start-to-end and understand the purpose and importance of the ledger. You will be organised and methodical with strong communication skills and confidence dealing with queries.
