The Business Support role assists the Business Leader by being a 'go-to' person who can be relied on to help support the team and ensure that all business support functions are implemented accurately and effectively, making sure that every customer has a brilliant experience.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Supporting the team in serving our customers, providing unique solutions and maintaining and growing strong, long-term relationships. Assisting with managing the day to day operations and financial performance of the store. Overseeing all system processes and ensure all transactions are up to date, accurately processed and all documents are correctly filed. Gaining a complete understanding of our entire product offering. Assisting with ensuring all our products are always well stocked and merchandised to the highest standard. Assisting customers by preparing quotations for current and future orders. Following up efficiently and effectively with customers on everything related to their outstanding orders and quotations. Processing of customer payments at Point of Sale and taking accountability for cash desk when required. Reconcile and prepare floats, petty cash and daily banking of cash. Coordinating and executing payroll activities. Checking POD's for all account invoices and control manual invoices. Checking all Credit applications and assist the Support Office with all Debtor queries. Reconciling all sample and promotional accounts. Available to work on weekends when required.
The experience we're looking for:
Experience in a related admin and coordination/leadership role. Highly proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel (spreadsheets), Word, Outlook. Experience with the Syspro ERP system preferable. Is fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
