Process all aspects of hourly payroll including: auditing daily Kronos punch detail, processing weekly payroll changes, processing vacation and sick pay, weekly transmission of Kronos payroll information and processing of WorkDay payroll. Compute and post daily production. Monitor and close production work orders. Process Accounts Payable. Work with Plant Controller on month-end closing, budget preparation and physical inventory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compute, verify, review and post production.
Close orders/run production reports.
Process and transmit Weekly Hourly payroll.
Process accounts payable /purchase orders to ensure payments to vendors are charged to correct accounts.
Process "Hold for Inspection" documents to determine if "suspect" goods are suitable for sale.
Unlock and lock-up main office.
Perform any special assignments or projects and provide assistance to the Accounting Department.
Prepare/reconcile WIP and raw materials inventory on a monthly basis.
Research inventory discrepancies. Direct, research, and correct production reporting issues for inventory control.
Monthly close, generate, and post journal entries. Make adjustments according to monthly inventories to control inventories, close books, and generate monthly statements.
Daily invoicing and create manual invoices for the sale of scrap materials.
