Tax Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, New York, NY. Advise clients on their local and/or oversees tax affairs and various aspects of merger and acquisition transactions such as restructuring, divestiture, partnerships and insolvency. Help clients provide value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. Demonstrate the ability to research industry tax trends to assist clients with leveraging proposals and considering tax-based opportunities across multiple lines of service. Coach and mentor staff. Build and maintain networks of client relationships. Responsible for project workflow, budgets, and collections.

 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $195,000 - $195,000/yr.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Taxation, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive, related work experience.

 

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Taxation, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

 

Certification(s) required: U.S. certified public accountant (CPA) license or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.

 

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

  •  Applying and interpreting U.S. federal income tax law as it relates to tax due diligence exercises;
  • Pricing, client value and the negotiation process, including preparing and reviewing contracts to introduce new pricing options; and
  • Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.  

 

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

 

Domestic and/or International travel required up to 20%.
