Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We're looking for well-rounded lenders who will come on board as Banking Specialists based in key Branches across Christchurch/Canterbury. You will provide high quality advice and solutions across our range of great products with a focus on customers with home lending. You will take the time to understand your customers' needs and goals and serve them brilliantly in a truly meaningful way. You will be based at one of our flagship branches across Canterbury starting in the early 2024. Depending on the location some branches are open on weekends. This role will support BNZ's strong growth ambitions in the region and provide a rewarding learning pathway to enable you to excel in your Banking career. The most challenging part of the role is also one of the most interesting; it's a broad role being an expert for our customers on a variety of products and help them navigate their personal situations. We work in an extremely fast paced environment, so being able to learn quickly, adapt and have a good attention to detail while putting the customer at the heart of everything you do will be key. Previously home lending experience is essential to this role, whether that be within Banking of another financial services organisation. You'll understand the whole end to end process with home lending, while also demonstrating that you are calm, communicative, and level-headed.
