The Role Reporting to the Finance & Operations Director, the Finance Manager is responsible for the financial and IT support functions of Barenbrug. Leading a small number of direct reports, you will coach and develop your team to ensure they reach their full potential. You will be accountable for the timely and accurate completion of all financial reporting, including statutory accounts, tax, insurance, cash management and Group compliance. You will also provide support to the wider business to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting and will act as a true financial partner to the business, offering financial and analytical support, advice on how to improve efficiencies and to aid in robust decision making. Your role will be to ensure that the financial information is accurate, clearly communicated to the rest of the business and that the Finance and IT systems are being used as efficiently and effectively as possible. Your team will provide a high level of service, quality financial advice and in-depth analysis, helping Barenbrug achieve its business objectives. This role offers a high level of variety and autonomy. You won't be pigeonholed into just a financial reporting or a finance business partnering role but will be able to have the best of both worlds, allowing you to really make a difference and have a positive influence. The Person
To be considered for this role, you will be CA qualified and will have previous experience in a senior finance role with a solid understanding of both financial and management accounting principles. You will be a strong leader, with an inquisitive nature and an analytical approach to problem solving. You will be excited about how you can make a difference and will constantly look for opportunities to add value and improve processes. An interest in the agri sector would be an advantage and you will be competent working with MS Office and ERP/accounting systems (Barenbrug use Pronto). On Offer
