Reference: NFR002131-BM-1A global financial giant based in the northern suburbs of Gauteng is in search of an Accountant to join their exciting team. This role aims to provide operational financial processing and support to the Finance Teams, Senior Management and Executive within the group.Key Result Areas/Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, responsible for various activities (including capturing and processing) relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and accounting across the subsidiaries within the group. Perform financial reconciliations including balance sheet reconciliations and clearing account reconciliations Resolution of reconciling items within group policy guidelines Ensuring accounting records are in line with relevant accounting standards and group accounting policies Assist in the monthly and annual reporting process to ensure timely delivery of accurate financial information, including assistance with statutory compliance as needed. Assist with audit processes Build relationships and work collaboratively with subsidiary finance teams and business units outside the finance team to ensure optimal performance of duties Share knowledge and collaborate to ensure adherence to the accounting standards and group accounting policies. Collaborate and support the FP&A function on a continuous basis Ad-hoc requests from line manager.

Sound interpersonal skills with abilities to engage diverse stakeholders across different teams and geographies. Deadline driven.
Bcom Accounting Degree
At least 3 years experience in Financial Accounting environment, preferably in an entrepreneurial or high growth multi-national organisation Financial Services industry experience is advantageous
