A hugely successful SME business base on the outskirts of Preston who specialise in their area of business are now looking for a Planning & Budget Control Manager. They are looking to continue the development of the business. Looking at new strategies and ventures. With strong profits and ambitious growth plans the business is looking for a Planning & Budget Control Manager who can help take them on this journey.

Your new role
You will be the Planning & Budget Control Manager for a successful business. Reporting to the Finance Manager in the UK you will also work the Group Finance Directors and this will include preparation and presentation of information for monthly Executive Board Meetings. You will lead in the preparation for all of the business plans. Preparation of periodic reports for Group reporting purposes including bi-weekly sales reports, monthly forecasts and month end flash reports including detailed variance analysis and commentary.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or QBE. Experience in a Senior Finance position working with various stakeholder and the executive board of directors. You will have a passion for continuous improvement and want to work in a fast paced environment where you can actually make a difference. Have superb commercial awareness to add value throughout the business. High level communication skills with strong attention to detail. Experience with systems (SAP would be a bonus) and good relationship building skills.
